Introducing our staff
Momonga Village was established in 2007.
We transformed a traditional Japanese mansion that was built over 100 years ago into a comfortable guesthouse with a lingeringhistorical taste.
“Momonga” is the name of the Japanese flying squirrel that lives in this area.
Visitors of our guesthouse sometimes have the privilege to meet these cute little fellows.
Birds are singing, rivers are flowingand the beautiful nature is waiting for you here!
We wish you a peaceful vacation and hope that you enjoy the atmosphere of the good old days in Japan that one can feel in our guest house. We are all looking forward to see you!
I am a 41 years old man who enjoys nothing more than traveling and who travelled a lot in Japan and all over the world. Moreover I love outdoor activities, I have more than 15 years of experience in conducting rafting tours on the Yoshinogawa.
When I was yound, I was a broke backpacker travelling around and exploring the world.
During this time, I felt the desire to an ideal lodging place for travelers like me and decided to dedicate my life to that aim. I wanted to built the perfect guest house where travellers can relax and enjoy their time together.
Since I had the privilege to get married and be blessed with a child, I am not longer able to travel around as I want to, so I love listening to the stories the guests tell me about their journeys and I hope to hear yours as well!
Momonga Village is a guest house of travellers, by travellers, for travellers!
Looking forward to meet you and enjoy life together!
